Celtic Tunes and Tales

Anderson County proudly brings you “Slainte”, a month-long Celtic Festival to be celebrated March 1 – 29, 2008. The festival will include Arts Exchanges, Arts & Crafts Workshops, Celtic Games, Celtic Concerts, Tuesday Teas, Celtic Church Services, Lectures, Theatre Offerings, Storytelling, plus much more.

Join Electric City Playhouse as we perform “Celtic Tunes & Tales”.  We started this type of performance during the downtown St. Patrick’s Day Festival in 2007.  Our “Irish Tunes & Tales” in March of 2007 was such a hit that everyone said we must make it a tradition.  We jumped at the chance to be included in the wonderful activities during the month of March in 2008 during the Celtic Festival. 

Our “Celtic Tunes and Tales” will be a variety show including music, a one-act play, audience interaction with trivia questions, jokes, wonderful vocalists, and even a Celtic language lesson or two.  Join us for a wonderful evening filled with fun and entertainment.  Tickets will be $15.00 and go on sale February 1, 2008.  You won’t want to miss this theatrical experience!
