Jimmy O. Burdette
(Director) has performed in dinner theatres, outdoor dramas and national
tours across the U.S.A. He studied at the
Burt Reynolds Institute in Jupiter, FL where he performed in
numerous shows at the
Jupiter Theatre: La Cage aux Folles,
42nd Street, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, etc. He also
appeared on 4 episodes of the CBS sitcom Evening Shade with Marilu
Henner and Hal Holbrook.
He has performed in
numerous shows at the historic
Abbeville Opera House: Dracula,
Tom Sawyer, Oklahoma, Mister Roberts,
Frankenstein, A Summer Remembered, Whose Life Is It
Anyway? Jimmy has directed shows all over the upstate: Foxfire,
Night of the Living Dead, Sugar Bean Sisters, First
Baptist of Ivy Gap, etc. He recently directed these hits at the
Electric City Playhouse: Keep On The Sunnyside, Dracula,
and Hank Williams: Lost Highway. In the upcoming months he will
be directing Showtime at First Baptist, Man of Constant Sorrow,
Dixie Swim Club, and The Uninvited.
