Paula M. Doolittle
feels like ECP is home. Over the last couple of months she as played
Suzanne on our stage in
Dearly Departed and
Edith in
Showtime at First Baptist. Yes, Ms. Doolittle is a regular here
at our theatre performing in such shows as
Janette in
Keep On the
Sunny Side, Roxie Hart in Chicago, Dracula,
The Odd Couple and
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. You also might have seen Paula at
CLT as Effy in The Spitfire Grill,
Gloria Whitmore in Grace and Glorie, Herself
in The World Goes Round, Lorraine
Sheldon in The Man Who Came to Dinner, and Ginger
in The 1940's Radio Hour.
Paula, always active, has done several
movies and commercials and recently performed in Mo Blues
as part of the First Friday series. At Centre Stage, she has done
Messiah on the Refrigerator, Vi Petty in
The Buddy Holly Story, Sordid Lives, and a
lead singer/dancer in Beehive-A 60’s Musical, to mention
a few. She has also been on stage at
Easley
Foothills Playhouse and
Oconee Theatre. By day, she is a
guidance counselor at
Edwards Middle School
in Central, SC. When not at rehearsal or school, she is a member of
Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority for Educators in
Clemson,
Chi Omega Alumni Association at
Clemson
University, and
The
Marine Corp League Auxiliary in
Seneca, SC. Paula loves to work with
children, attend the Opera, and have a good time while doing both.
