SO LONG ON LONELY STREET
by Sandra Deer,
Director Joe Merck
A zesty poignant and fiercely funny comedy. In addition to this family’s
turf battle, the plot also deals with the unexamined assumptions that
most families live by. Family members have been suppressing secrets; and
each member eventually realizes that some seeming impossibility has come
to pass. While all the clever plotting is going on, the characters
interact with rowdy humor, so integral to their personalities. Lonely
Street seems more a slice of life than just a great play.
