Trevor Furlong (Actor) was born
and bought up just outside London, England and moved to Belton in March
2008.
He has been acting for more years
than he cares to admit (more than 30 anyway) and has spent a lot of that
time in and around the theatres of the West End of London. He has played
everything from Fagin (Oliver), The Cowardly Lion (Wizard
of Oz), all the way to Jack the Ripper. Has appeared in such
diverse productions as Noises Off, Lend me a Tenor, Out
of Focus, Absent Friends and starred in Billy Liar. He
was a founding member of the Monck Street Theatre in Central London,
where he specialized in Comedy & Farce. His first love is Pantomime,
that very British of institutions, so beloved by children of all ages,
wherein the audience gets to be just as much a part of the performance
as the onstage cast do. His Panto roles have included Ugly
Sister (Cinderella) to Widow Twanky (Aladdin).
He is the owner of
The Victoria Tea Room in Downtown
Anderson, which he runs with his wife
Tracy (our Stage Manager). Also he is a
Bass Player, recently appearing in the house band for “Mo
Blues” at ECP in August.
Trev would like to thank the
brilliant Jimmy Burdette for this chance to appear in his very first ECP
production, Jay and Ann Wright for a friendship that is beyond measure,
Paul Hyde for making his first production a breeze and finally his wife
Tracy for
her unceasing support in everything. Mention must also go to his cats
Bosco & Mouse, who firmly believe that by sitting and staring at him,
they have helped him learn his lines.
